Judith is a Certified Public Accountant with almost 30 years experience in public sector financial management, financial governance and accounting policy advice. Judith has been based in Canberra, Australia’s capital and public sector centre, since 1983. She originally moved to Canberra to work under Ian Mackintosh, the current vice-chairman of the International Accounting Standards Board, at Coopers and Lybrand (now PwC). There she managed internal audit outsourcing services for Australian Government Business enterprises and later worked with Ian in commercialising Defence Housing and developing an Accounting Centre of Excellence as Australia adopted accrual accounting reforms for both financial reporting and budgeting.
Since the early days with Coopers and Lybrand, Judith has continued to provide accounting, financial framework and budgeting advice to public sector clients. Recent assignments that Judith has managed include:

Quality assurance review of Aboriginal Hostel Limited’s 30 June 2012 financial statements
Setting up the financial and corporate processes for the newly-formed Department of Regional Australia, Local Government, Arts and Sport.
Quality assurance of ICT benchmarking processes for a number of public sector clients.
Judith holds a Bachelor of Business from UTS and will complete a Master of Business from UNSW shortly.
